The idea, only a dream at that stage, was to produce a range of Home, Bath and Body products that would set new standards of excellence. Dreams can be realised, but only after thorough research and development, a manufacturing process dedicated to utilizing only the finest ingredients and the application of stringent quality controls, and finally the presentation of all products in clean lined, elegant packaging.

Janet Rhys and Shaun McDermott founded Charlotte Rhys and can be proud that today Charlotte Rhys is a respected brand and an aspirational icon in the South African market place. All Charlotte Rhys products are produced, under the watchful eyes of Janet and Shaun, by Charlotte Rhys Manufacturing in their own factory in Cape Town. The hotel industry both local and international were quick to recognize the value in providing distinctive and exclusive in room products for their guests and a range of high end quality products were developed to cater for the unique requirements of the hospitality industry. Charlotte Rhys proudly supplies some of the leading hotels, lodges, resorts and spas in the world.
